Apple Crumbles

Apple pie and apple crisp are a couple of my favourite fall desserts. Here is a quick and easy way to enjoy an apple dessert when you are short on time.
This recipe uses only four ingredients and only takes twenty minutes from start to finish. I used canned apple pie filling and for the crumble topping mixed Quaker Oatmeal Cookie mix with some butter. To make it even sweeter I drizzled some caramel ice cream sundae sauce over the top before serving.
This recipe could be made using one baking dish but I chose to make individual servings in french onion soup bowls.

Ingredients
Prep Time: 5 min Cooking Time: 15 min Total Time: 20 min
Yield: Makes 4 Individual Crumbles in 10oz bowls
2 cans apple pie filling
2 cups oatmeal cookie mix
4 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400F

Divide pie filling evenly between the 4 oven safe bowls

Combine cookie mix and butter with a fork

Crumble cookie mixture over the pie filling

Place bowls on a baking sheet and put in oven until topping is golden brown ( about 15 min )

Remove from oven and drizzle with caramel sauce

Allow to cool slightly before serving
